<p>[QUOTE="Lehigh96, post: 431014, member: 15309"]This was an abandoned project from long ago. My goal was to assemble a complete album of circulated rainbow toned <a href="http://mercurydimes.blogspot.com/" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://mercurydimes.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow">Mercury Dimes</a> (No 1916-D). My searches were frustrated by problem coin after problem coin, not to mention artificially toned POS. This following represents how far I got before I gave up. I was even willing to accept lightly cleaned examples that retoned, but my God, people just kill coins. This is something that I would love to pick up again. Anyone who has a nice circulated rainbow toned Merc, I will pay from 3-5X bid if I like the coin and it is not a duplicate. PM me if you are interested.</p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1916RawF12.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1917RawG4.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1918-DRawVF20.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1926RawVF20.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1931-SRawVG10.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1936-DRawF12.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1936-SRawF15.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1937-DRawVG10.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1937-SRawF12.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o59/ACPitBoss/Mercury%20Dimes/MercuryDime1944RawAU55.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>Mercury Dimes are one of the few series that I enjoy in both uncirculated and circulated grades.
