This NGC PR63 Tunisian 1891-A (Paris Mint) 50 Centimes is not only the only known proof example of the date, but the only known proof example of any Tunisian 50 Centimes whatsoever. Given that 1891 was the first date of issue for the type (KM 223), it is possible that a single run of all denominations in proof were issued as a presentation set (a proof 1891-A 10 Francs and a proof 1891-A 20 France are also known to exist). This exact piece (NGC certification number 2719596-006) also appears as the plate coin in the NGC guide for the type. Asking $2500.
