Lovely coin, @Curtisimo ! It's always special to have a coin formerly owned by one of our community, too. The only Antiochene tet I have is this one of Otacilia Severa: Otacilia Severa, 244-249. Roman provincial AR tetradrachm, 12.23 g, 25.1 mm. Syria, Seleucis & Pieria, Antioch ad Orontem, AD 245. Obv: ΜΑΡ ΟΤΑΚΙΛ CΕΟΥΗΡΑ CΕΒ, diademed and draped bust, right. Rev: ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ΕΞΟΥCΙΑC ΥΠΑΤΟ Α, eagle on palm, left, tail right, SC in exergue. Refs: McAlee 1088; Prieur 341; BMC 541. But I've got a bunch of antoniniani of Trebonianus Gallus minted in the city. Here is my favorite of them all, though. I like the reverse type, which is not found on his coins issued by the Rome or "Milan" mints: Trebonianus Gallus, AD 251-253. Roman AR antoninianus, 3.82 g, 19.7 mm, 11 h. Antioch, second series, AD 251-252. Obv: IMP C C VIB TREB GALLVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust, right. Rev: ADVENTVS AVG, Emperor on horseback, left, raising right hand and holding scepter. Refs: RIC 79; Cohen 2; RCV 9622; Hunter 56; ERIC II 44.
