The coins that don't meet my standards for my collection get put into the family spending jar, and when it gets full we cash it in and spend it. But I wonder what would happen if we just put that jar aside somewhere and let it sit for who knows how long? Would it be found hundreds or thousands of years from now? </p><p><br /></p><p>What if my collection was lost somehow and at that point, the coins I rejected due to condition were found and one of them in that jar became the finest known?
