A slabbed COA? REALLY?

    I was perusing ebay when much to my shock I saw this.... a seller selling a coin that comes with... that's right... a slabbed COA... what's next.... and it's even pcgs don't it this time....

    They will slab almost anything if it means they get submission fees in their pocket.

    I find it odd they are separate, I think in the past I've seen them put both in the same, oversized holder.

    Here we go with the "mine is better than yours bunch". Your MS 70 won't be able to compete if it doesn't have the COA. It is getting more stupid out there.

    I'd rather see the receipt slabbed, at least that's history.

    i know I had a heck of a time getting a 1914-D Lamination error and I was willing to pay extra, yet they slab COA's and crickets..go figger

    COAs have been slabbed for a long time by multiple companies Its not anything new

    Weren’t there a limited amount of COA’s that were hand signed by the mint director? That could be the reason for the slab as they do with sports cards and autographs.

    Huh, that's a new one on me. I've sent other collectables with coa's to be graded and they always sent the coa back, lol.
