A site of my collection?

    That depends on what your web site is. If all you have on your site is your own collection and maybe some info/educational links - you can post links to it anytime and anywhere (on CT) you want.

    You can even use your sig line to post a link to a for sale site or coin shop if you want, but only your sig line.

    The thing that is against the forum rules is when people post links to auctions or sales sites in threads and posts in the regular sections of CT. THAT is not allowed.

    Of course if all you want to do is share your collection with others, you don't even need a separate web site. Coin Talk provides every member with their own personal albums where they can share pictures of all their coins ;)

    It's only considered advertising if your site is a commercial website, where you make money, are a coin dealer or sell coins from the site. If it's just a personal site that displays your coins and personal info, doesn't appear to be against the rules. Read the rules and then read the exceptions.
