I was bidding in the Spink auction and won a couple of coins. However, the coin I really wanted was the rare Domitian denarius you see below. The problem was that the coin was part of a group lot. I did not need any of the coins in the group except this one. I did not bid and the coin was missed. This is a very rare coin and I did not know when another might appear. Well nine days later the coin I wanted showed up as its own lot on Vcoins from a seller I had dealt with before. The seller broke up the lots. I bought the coin immediately.</p><p><br /></p><p>The coin is not just rare. I really wanted the coin for the portrait as well.
