A recent addition: Capped Bust Quarter

    I had picked this up recently as an upgrade for my type set and thought I'd share it here.

    1836 Capped Bust Quarter, B-3, Obverse Die State 5, Reverse Die State 3... at least as far as I can tell. Please feel free to correct me if I am mistaken on that! I only found minimal information online about the die states so far, but I think it's pretty cool seeing the remnants of the shattered dies!

    I'll see if I can get some better pictures up soon, but my laptop is still not being cooperative, so it's rather time consuming to transfer the images.

    I don't know nothing about die states, but I think it's a fairly nice specimen. ;)
    I would have guessed that a die state was just an obsolete State in our country. . :wacky:
