a question for my knowledgeable esteemed peers on a proof double die

    hello, currently looking to buy it now on a 1939 proof Lincoln cent that is machine doubled, on front portrait of Lincoln total and on cent and united states of america doubled on reverse, is this something that is worth paying 75.00 for?? it is about proof 63 or 64 or so i would guess please let me know, he also has a 53 proof and a 39 and a 52 with slighter machine doubling too....is this something that happens all the time, or worth something??

    the 1952 has a die crack on both sides, but is a proof...so, 29.00 for him, just wondering if worth it fo the novelty

    Can we see some pictures. If the 1939 is in really good condition, it may be worth 75 on its own without doubling. Show us some pictures first though please.

    Do you have any pictures? You can buy a graded 1939 proof for that price without problems. MD is typically worthless doubling, unless you just like it. The 53 with die cracks may be i
