Well, it&#039;s a tossup between the 1852-O half dime, the 1867-S half dime, the 1859-S half, and the 1858-O half.</p><p><br /></p><p>But if I had to choose, it would be the 1867-S. It is a scarce half dime with a mintage of 120k iirc. It is rarely seen at shows, and even on Ebay where a few examples can be found, sellers ask WAY above price guide value. It is damaged, as is often the case with the 1863-7-S block of half dimes, but it is AU details with luster. I saw it at $30 and knew I was not going to be leaving the table without it.</p><p><br /></p><p>This year I want to pick up the 1837 half dime and dime to honor the 180th anniversary, and next year I will try to pick up the 1838 quarter.</p><p><br /></p><p>My dream seated? Probably the 1846 half dime. As for Gobrecht gold pieces, I dream of owning the 1864-S $10.</p><p><br /></p><p>Why do I collect seateds?
