Just for fun... For reasons I won't go into, I bought a roll of 1962 proof cents. What do you think of this one?

This type of toning always looked unnatural to me. Sort of like an oil slick

I've seen purple/blue on proof 1962 cents. It's really hard to tell based off photos. I'd have to see what it looks like with light reflecting off at different angles.

I have a few toned nickels but they have a more even tone. The color in the second coin in the OP has some strange, liquid looking colors.

bht if pcgs says it’s legit then I can’t argue

It's ok to argue. I get plenty of people saying its AT. PCGS doesn't get everything right all the time.

Mine's REALLY fake. In the roll, there were some that were really ugly toned or spotted. Treated some with eZest, rinsed thoroughly and baked to a temp of 450 degrees Fahrenheit. I sent @Cheech9712 a couple, perhaps she will share pictures.

I've cents like this that have resided (in the past) in old acid laden manila flips. Colorful and festive......

I bought a 1963 proof set unopened. The dealee i bought it from declined to tell me it was baking in his car in the 98 degree Louisiana heat in june. I opened it up when I got home all of them were blue
