A new find in a big bag of coins

Oh wow, congrats. What a find. That ones gonna be hard to beat, but I hope Im the one that finds better, lol.

BIG congrats jeankay, niiiice! Let us know what it comes back, I'm guessing XF-40 as the real grade, but they'll probably give it a 45 as a bump. :thumb: :thumb:

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!!!! Gorgeous coin!!! I need a budgood bag as well. Every time I ask he is all sold out! JeanKay congrats on your new addition!! I have only ran across 2 to 3 of these since I started collecting. I knew right when I saw your coin she was the real deal!!! =D

 

I have bought a bunch of Budgood bags, great results, you folks remember the 14-D I found.
The bags I order elsewhere dont come as nice, but they are steady. Jason is sold out alot, lol, gee I wonder why !!!

This has been probably the most exciting weekend I have had in many years!

Gee, does budgood have wings of any angel... or is that an eagle on his avatar?

Sorry, I think the long day and excitement has gotten me sort of silly...
that and the smoke from all the fires in our part of California... 700 or so fires caused by lightning.

P.S. Oh, forgot to tell you, we are very close to the border of one of the most notorious counties for pot growing... so the air around here could be deadly for some of us right now... no kidding.

I just checked the flyer mailing list and someone has the coin at "Hallmark VG10/VG7 for 1,165.00", and a " PCI at VF40 for a whopping 3,870.00". Wow!!!

Of course, I know better... it would be pure robbery to ask a price like that.

Actually, AZ, Mendocino (Ukiah is county seat)... but Humboldt is next in line.
I must say, the drive from here to Eureka is fantastic! Beautiful country.
You just don't want to go sight-seeing on old roads in the hills... too dangerous.

That could go either way, but I think the reverse is a solid XF.

(The 40 grade is XF, VF ranges from 20-35)

That is a very difficult coin to grade.

Congrats on the find Jeankey! I would say that is the find of the year but that would be under stating it more like a life time!!!!!

This was undoubtedly the best find I have made in my 1 1/2 years of collecting.
Sure made my weekend... and the next several months.
There are some other really nice items in the big bag and that I will post by and by.
For now, I am still trying to figure out if this is all real...
