    It is not likely

It is not likely that this is a doublED die.
The reason,, pretty much the same as BIll said. To have a doubled die in the central design on this era coin (esp. on the reverse) would be very unlikley.
If it truely was it would show on the adjacient bottom of America also or at some other close point.
Remember the 1984 DDO #1 (which has central design doubling) show a huge doubled beard and neck also on date - it has been stated also that the 84 would rival the 1955 or 69-S or exceed them if it was allowed to fully seat the secondary image.
We see so many things on 1960 thru 1970 Lincoln cents that it boggels the mind but I will be surprised if this is a true doubled die.
Please let us know when John has seen it - I also will be glad to admit if I am wrong, that's just part of life no prob!

Doesn't matter who he is don't mean a thing to me never did. . I did send the coin out about a week ago. I also brought it to my dealer a long time friend that has alot of knowledge on doubled dies and said he believes it to be a doubled die a new variety and Ziggy I said before you don't matter either and LostDutchmen.Yea Brad go back to your hiding spot. That's right Ziggy i still didn't see the proof on that coin if it was authentic or not so were's the proof on the clash die? I guess it was a fake he never even bothered posting the coin I bet he left the country.Rockdude you need to learn to have a little more patience. The followers will follower.

Where did you get such an attitude?

Where did you get such an attitude? That is totally not warrented on CoinTalk, heck guy it's only money we are talking about here - it ain't that big a deal in the large scheme of things.
If I were you I would back peddle your attitude and see if you can salvage some form of respect on here and do it yesterday!
The last statement is really cute IMO - good attempt at a con there and excuse to "duck out" - but your dealing with a pro here so it ain't goona fly!
Your only way out now is to come clean when it comes back and admit you were wrong, (or prove to us you were right) and have much more to learn - any effort less than that everyone that ever see's your posts will read them for comedy only, soooooo, who's backed themself in a corner now???

Listen, in all fairness I learned a long time ago that a man earns more respect by admitting he was wrong than holding on to pride and ego.
The first part of growing up is knowing when to admit a wrong. When you admit your wrong, or made a mistake, or spoke out of line your telling the truth - the game stops! When you hold on to anger, resentment, and judge other's in a moment of ego you will lose, each and every time and will give yourself more and more resentments to harbor up until know one will want to be near you.
It's your choice, be a man or be miserable.

Your statement is wrong i don't see any proof of the coin being slabbed were is the pic of the slabbed clash die. There's no proof by word of mouth Ziggy like you said about my possible doubled die 1970p that is obverse.. I still believe the coin is a fake and that;s it there;s is no proof just verbal and that don't mean a thing when it comes to this coin or any for that matter.

    NICE TRY
