1984-S JFK obverse and reverse plastic die caps. Cool!

    Thanks, @Fred Weinberg

Those are cool. How did something like that happen though? I'm assuming one of those worker-assisted errors?

Those are protective pieces. They dipped the dies in melted plastic to protect the die faces from dust and scratches

Oh nice. I thought that it was struck through a piece of plastic or something.

Very cool. When do you begin construction to add a coin vault to your residence? You must be running out of room, I know I am.

I could fit everything I own in something as small as a microwave, but I have a nice 80 year old, 525 lb safe.

Many years ago, a doctor in Ohio had his collection valued at 6-7 figures stolen while he was on vacation. The thieves took the 4,000 lb. safe and everything in it.

Without giving away information, there is no way a thief can possibly remove my modified, hidden safe from its location. And in 14 years since it was installed, no one has even found the door to my safe.
