His accounts described the Yuezhi with distinct Greco Asiatic features such as deep set eyes and thick beards. There were also circumstantial association of the Tarim or Tocharian Mummies of Xinjiang China being the ancestors of the Yuezhi. These Tocharian Mummies were fascinating as they had distinct European features in what is in Western China.
