=> ummm, yes I do ... she is the Shepherd/Husky cross ... Buster is a the lil' black & white devil => our dog Larry was rescued on the side of the highway by our human buddy Larry (it seemed like a fitting name) ... ummm, she may actually be a wolf?
Thanks Eduard. Generally my sons have no idea what to get me for a present so they end up getting things I don't want or need. But they are presents and it's the thought that counts. I have suggested for them not to buy me anything, but they always do. Then I suggest something coin related, but they forget and get something else. Things like, I don't know, an ice scrapper for my car forgetting that I live in Florida. That may be a slight exaggeration but only slight. But, again, it's the thought. Right? This time the eldest did well. The other son gave me books mostly about the Roman Empire, but nothing about coins. Ah well, they try.
No kids here, so my parents are the ones in my immediate family that give me anything for Christmas. I exaggerate not when I say they would have absolutely no clue where to begin if they had to choose a coin to give me, so I just usually get money, clothes, or both, from them. But I still love them and like Bing said its the thought that counts.
Yah Jango, my wife is the exact same way ..... but I'm kinda glad, for even if she had half a clue what coin to buy, she probably wouldn't buy the exact one that I would have bought, ya know? (oh, and same goes for me trying to guess her "personal-preference" stuff) => it is a far smarter idea to merely present-give the gimmes and leave the obsession-articles to the collectors ... right? ... hmmm, all of a sudden "underwear" is seeming like a pretty cool gift ...
Great coin jw, awesome that it came from your son, when i get a coin from family or friend its forever..
