Mark's right, most vendors are getting away from Paypal altogether because of the scamming problems some of them have encountered. Lots of unscrupulous consumers buy a product from XYZ online, pay with paypal, and as soon as the buyer receives the product, he/she files a claim with paypal and obtains their money back. Then the buyer then complains to the company that their items never came, it's a big scam that's been going around even with the so-called improvements Paypal put in place.

At least with the co-op with eBay, a seller has a little bit more protection over this kind of fraudulant activity.

Frankly fellas, the guy's too new for me to ever have taken a chance on purchasing something.

Sorry, but this to me is not a very good argument. Everyone's new at some point, they've got to start somewhere.

I'm new here, but that doesn't mean I should be biased against if I have things I would like to sell or trade, which in fact I do and will post some things eventually, if I go about it in the right ways. I agree, someone just popping on to hock their wares might be suspicious, but if they go about their business in a proper manner, it shouldn't matter when they joined.

Again, this goes back to due diligence on the part of the buyer to ensure they have made a good decision.

I could have asked for pictures of the coin I was buying, I could have insisted on using an escrow service, I could have done more things to ensure I wasn't getting taken (if indeed we are being taken). But, I don't think how long someone has been a member is a critical factor.

Frankly, dear fellow, I wouldn't buy from you either. And that's nothing against you or who you are or what your reputation is. You could be the most honest, forthright, straight forward person on the planet, but if I don't interact here with you (forums) and get a feel for you personally I ain't buyin' nothin' from you. Again, nothing personal........just the Leery, Leary, weary guy in me........

I have shipped everyones purchases guaranteed! I will also accept electronic payment through Google still! Have a little faith people! This is a disgrace! I will no longer offer anything on here no more because of these comments, I will take my business and great deals elsewhere as I'm sure I will have no problem selling! I see that some people are very ungreatfull for someone taking their time!

To my Customers, I apologize for any miscommunication and I have sent all tracking information to your provided email address. As far as the phone issue, mine is on the fritz right now and it will be fixed Monday! I appreciate all your business!

    Best Wishes & Brightest Blessings,

That is interesting. I recently asked for such references from a seller elsewhere. I figured, everyone knows me, so show yourself. They refused and with a lot of back and forth, he told me he wouldn't sell to me anyway,

If everyone is on the up and up I don't know why anyone gets huffy. If everyone is happy after this, frankly your reputation is highly strengthened.

    whatever.

No offense taken. We have different views about how (and who with) we wish to spend our money, and I see nothing wrong with that.

has everyone gotten their tracking? i didn;t. the worst part of this whole deal is i wish everyone would have been good. The only thing i could get over is when i offered to buy everything he relisted he emailed me immediately saying to send a check. I emailed back 1 minute later asking him to call me and i never got a single ring or return email. Also he said i would have tracking info on friday and i still haven't gotten it.

I agree, There is no need to get upset. There are valid points in the posts. If you address them and everyone ends up happy, then you will indeed have a solid reputation. Until then....

Didn;t he say he sent a USPS money order ? I don;t think your credit card company can dispute that, since if he used the credit card to buy the money order, that transaction was completed as per contract. What he does with the money order seems beyond the credit card company protections ?
