A little Probus never hurt us

    Wow this thread really expanded! I guess there was a delay as everyone dug up their Probuses and photo'd them. Here's mine: bought from a retail dealer many years ago. The dealer would include cutouts from polaroid photos of the coin included within every envelope. Photo'd are the original above & his BW photos below.

    Don't recall the price but it probusly was in the $35 range.[​IMG]

    @Sallent I knew that his soldiers had revolted while working on a swamp draining project (I think) and murdered him. I didn’t know the detail about no rest breaks. If you have any good Probus things, Internet or printed, I should look for please PM me. Book collecting is my second favorite hobby, much to my wife’s (and my movers’) chagrin.
