I bid on this mostly because I liked the reverse and didn't have one featuring Hilaritas. What made it cooler, is the fact that it was attributed to the "Braithwell Hoard". At $10.50, I think it was worth the price :)

The Braithwell hoard was discovered in September 2002, in Braithwell South Yorkshire. It contained 1,331 coins ranging from Valerian to Probus. Most of the coins were coins of the Gallic Empire. The hoard was buried some time after that and never recovered by the owner for whatever reason.

Maybe before I die, I will bury my hoard in a pot for a future generation to dig up :p

    Let's see your hoard coins!

Everything Meow owns is in a Hoard. Will history take note of Meow's Cat Hoard?
