That's a Tang Horse? ... it looks like a statue of an Asian girl?

Listen, I may not understand many of the Asian customs, but I do know this ...

=> if I called my wife any type of horse, she would mule-kick me!!

Well, I just learned that a 'Tang Horse' is not what you'd expect:wideyed: and that 'Chinese Characters' are included on Islamic coins:confused:...at least the sign for 'treasure'....

I can't help wondering what the motivation was including the 'character' on that coin?? Any ideas???

    As per Stephen Album...

"According to the contemporary historian Wassaf, the Ilkhan governor assigned to the Salghurids was chastised for having engraved a Chinese inscription on the coins of Shiraz, removed from his position and sent back to China".

A possible reason is due to political play by the Yuan court of Kublai Khan

In Feng Shui, horse is used to symbolize movement and power. It is normally used by people who would like to travel.
