IWelcome to the forum, but duplicate threads on the site tend to confuse and lead to duplicate posts, so I combined them here.~Jim
I just found what may be a great find at a local pawn shop. Its a Red Book 1947 edition first print. There is a signature on the first blank page and some markings on some of the pages where the original owner may have marked which coins he/she collected. Take a look and let me know what you guys think the condition of this book is. Thanks in advance!
I have heard of this. But what I'm really looking for is opinions from folks here first.
You need to read "A Guide Book of The Official Red Book of United States Coins"
Geeze, you could get into a continual loop, by then getting " Guide Book on a Guide book of a Guide book of Red Books.
Then a Guide Book of Slabbed Guide books of Red Books.
I have several old Red Books, I wonder if I should get them slabbed
As you wish, but Frank is the foremost expert on collecting Red Books.
A really do not doubt he is. But I thought that maybe someone here knows a thing or two about these books.
Frank is a member here. His user name is Treashunt. He'll pop in eventually.
Oh ok I see. Thanks!
