A great night for this penny collector!

    I was over my brother-in-laws this afternoon and mentioned I was collecting pennies. He disappears down to the basement and comes back up with his dad’s old coin album. ...and just gives it to me.

    Judging by how often I find wheat cents while CRH, he saved me a couple years of searching. I’m happy as a clam, currently moving them from the folder to my album.

    Preferably soft. I currently have beer...but only have a few hard pretzels. Not cutting the mustard.

    I like how all the dates after 1953 are written in by hand. All those coins should have been saved as new straight from circulation.

    That is pretty strong evidence that this folder dates from 1952 or 1953. That is one of the reasons it is so cool, in my opinion.
