The serial number of the note is hand written, which was normal.</p><p>The one item that makes this note so rare is the serial number. As noted on the PCGS Currency sleeve, the Plate Number is Z and the Serial Number is 2. That is the lowest serial number ever discovered on a CSA Note and I have owned this note for just over 10 years. To date, it’s still the lowest. I paid a small but considerable amount in the low four digit range. I have been offered a high four digit amount but it’s not for sale.
