    Apollonia Pontika, Thrace. AR diobol(1.3g) 410/404-341/323 B.C. Obv: Full-face laureate Apollo with short hair. Rev: Magistrate's initals around the images. Upright anchor with thick flukes and a rectangular stock. The letter A on one side and the additional symbol of a crab viewed from above on the other side between flukes and the stock. Topalov 56.     Unidentified Ptolemaic coin. Zeus obverse, two eagles on thunderbolt reverse. Rough but a cool budget example. $5

    Unidentified Augustus/Octavian quinarius - possibly "ASIA RECEPTA" reverse but it's too worn to tell. Overcleaned and has some surface issues as well as a bunch of silver chloride or something on the reverse but one of the cheapest silver coins of Augustus you will find. SOLD

Rev:BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔHMHTPIOY, veiled local deity thought to be Demeter-Atargatis standing facing, holding long torch or sceptre. Hoover 838; SC 1679; BMC 28; Houghton 423. $7

    Heraclius, Follis (40 Nummi), Constantinople, 610-641 AD, OBVERSE: No legend. Heraclius, crowned and in military attire, with moustache and long beard, holding long cross, on left and Heraclius Constantine, crowned and wearing chlamys, with short beard, holding cross on globe and scepter, on right, both standing facing. REVERSE: Large M, ANNO to left, Gamma (third officina) underneath, uncertain regnal year to right, CON in exergue. Overstruck on: Follis (40 Nummi), Nicomedia, uncertain obverse. REVERSE: [Iω / ΔЄCPO ΔOUK] John standing facing on l. wearing division, loros and sagion and holding labarum -tipped sceptre in r. hand, and St. Constantine standing facing on r., wearing similar attire and holding sceptre cruciger in l. hand; both holding patriarchal cross set on three steps between them.
