<p>[QUOTE="lkeigwin, post: 1420648, member: 30400"]The first arrived today from my ever-steady dealer/friend, Dave Kahn. I hate to let out a little secret...though a lot of you know this, but ebay seller "busthalfnut" and "estatecoinsales" (the latter, an unfortunate name IMO) is a go-to guy on busties. Dave offers more than just the bust series and it's hard to go wrong. He has a great eye, fully describes his coins, takes very decent pictures, offers full refunds, and is a straight shooter. Check out his goods.</p><p><br /></p><p>This first CBH is an 1811/10 overdate, Overton variety 101. The punctuated date, 18.11, is a popular variety. This one is an early die state with a bold die dot, and actually shows visible remnants of the 0 overdate. Not especially scarce (R1); graded PCGS AU53.</p><p><br /></p><p>The second is also from Dave, an O.106 R3. All have weak/incomplete milling and stars drawn to the edge. I bought this for its very pretty patina and exceptional luster. Yes, it actually is that color! PCGS graded AU53.</p><p><br /></p><p>The third I bought raw at a show. O.110, R1. I was confident it would grade cleanly as it shows no cleaning hairlines or damage, just ordinary circulation marks. Sure, it was dipped at some point like most coins from its era. But that is often forgiven. Not this time. PCGS body-bagged it for cleaning. Grr. Someday I'll try again, I think.</p><p>Lance.</p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg37/lkeigwin/CBHs/18184f42.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg37/lkeigwin/CBHs/ca631361.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg37/lkeigwin/CBHs/af546c44.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg37/lkeigwin/CBHs/11790d7b.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg37/lkeigwin/CBHs/26f2de42.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /><img src="http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg37/lkeigwin/CBHs/68e5e9cb.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>P.S.
