Hello. I am the Paul Torongo. I forgot my password, and the promised password reset email never arrived, so I just went ahead and made a new account. Excellent coins you have there! anyangman The auction where you bought your coins had several nice leeuwengroten, including the ones that you purchased. I have not yet gotten around to publishing my report on the leeuwengroten of Jeanne (Johanna) of Brabant However, I can tell you that this is a [Jeanne of Brabant] Type VI-a (as opposed to Type VI-b with an annulet T in MONETA on the obverse.) One small point: There was no "initial continuation of the leeuwengroot of Jan III", as you say, or at least, there is no evidence to suggest such a thing. (Technically: who knows?) The "new leeuwengroot from Vilvoorde" (MONETA FILFD, struck from 1357 (?)) was the first and only leeuwengroot struck by Jeanne (and Wenceslas) until the c. 1381 version shown here (as far as we know anyway). Happy Collecting!
