    Thought I'd share a couple of old Ireland pieces I came into a few weeks ago via LordMarcovan and H8modern. Thoughts on condition and value are always welcome.

    KM#130.1 Ireland 1742, 1/2 Penny, copper

    grade/value

    F-$10.00 VF-$55.00 XF-$125 UNC-$250
    I am sure the prices are higher than these now
    not sure what coins grade is ? VG-F


    KM#150 Ireland 1823, 1/2 Penny, Copper

    grade/value

    F-$10.00 VF-$20.00 XF-$65.00 UNC-$225.00
    I am sure the prices are higher than these now
    not sure what your coins grade is ? VF-XF

    wait for more experienced Ireland collectors to give you grades on these 2...
    very interesting looking coins.

    Man, the detail on that ms66 coin is staggering. The harp is magnificent.

    And George II on my coin looks like he go punched in the left eye by Tyson.

    No, I reckon Rocky Marciano. Part of his ear missing would have indicated Tyson.

    I'd be of a VG-ish opinion on both.

    I remember that 1742 in the source lot. Cool coin.
