First, the prices (IMO) on these errors are outrageous! I need a reality check here. What makes the price in these somewhat similar errors so drastically different, the seller? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1962-D-ANA...557340?hash=item365930151c:g:6loAAOSwxvRcUH0j https://www.ebay.com/itm/1962-NGC-MS64-75-Off-Center-Lincoln-Cent-Mint-Error-Great-Eye-Appeal-Rare-Date/312875485282?_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20160908105057&meid=d6dbb7a244744182b74e84aa6d870649&pid=100675&rk=2&rkt=15&mehot=none&sd=233424557340&itm=312875485282&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci:b4469f61-6195-11ea-b0b6-74dbd180329e|parentrq:bc82453d1700aaeece09c2d0ffee436e|iid:1
Yeah I thought it was less. But when I saw those prices I just ballparked it. I think $10-$15 is fair.
The seller.. overpriced! CTF Error coins have a website. I have followed their listings for many years. They always use " Great Eye appeal" on all their error coins. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/a-couple-of-ebay-error-coins.356350/#post-4224374
I edited my post I didn't mean that the seller is correct.. I meant that you were correct in saying the seller is drastic in the pricing.
Oh okay, thanks. You say you have been following this guy for years. What's the bottom-line with him.... Some of his prices are outrageous and some of his prices are fair?
Around $5 or less. What’s interesting is that the date is available on small % off center. Perhaps that might drive up the price a bit.
My LCS would sell these in the $10-$15 range. The bottom one is more off centered but with the date do so would think that is why the higher price. Both are totally outrageous in pricing.
