Great Collections is usually not the greatest place to find ancients (lots of high start bids), but last week they had some nice ones. Added to bronzes to my budding Roman collection.

Very nice, @Seated J! I occasionally buy from Great Collections, but seldom do I find any of their slabbed coins worth paying what they want for them. Once in a while, though, I run across an interesting Roman provincial or reasonably-priced denarius and I'll bid on them. I always crack them out of the slabs as soon as they arrive in the mail.

I like both of your bronzes. I went on a Mamaea bender a few years back and acquired almost every denarius and sestertius issued for her (the middle bronzes are much more challenging). Here's my FELICITAS AVG:

    Julia Mamaea, AD 222-235.
    Roman orichalcum sestertius, 26.95 g, 31.5 mm, 12 h.
    Rome, issue 9, AD 228.
Obv: IVLIA MAMAEA AVGVSTA, diademed and draped bust, right.
Rev: FELICITAS AVG, Felicitas standing left, holding long vertical caduceus and cornucopia.
    Refs: RIC 670; BMCRE 527-30; Cohen 10; RCV 8227; Banti 4.
