    Reeding gets applied post-casting in that case. It actually helps cover up the seam.

    I think real. The pictures are scans, which can distort how a coin looks.

    The coin, and alas the damage on it looks too "sharp" to be naturally occurring. Almost as if someone deliberately tossed it in a barrel of shrapnel and rolled it around or something.
    But the consensus seems to be that it's real so...
