I have owned a couple of 1839-O half dollars, but never held on to them. It's a popular date and, for that reason, hard to find.

This 1839-O $2.50 gold fits better in my collection, which has headed in the "yellow direction" in recent years.

Well, I've got one in my type collection. I've posted pictures of it in the past, even though I told myself that I would never post pictures of it. The reason, it's a nice coin, except some "idiot" took a sharp point and scratched it several times on both sides. So, I've got it to fill a space, probably won't ever upgrade it because it's out of my price range. But I wanted to fill a spot, and it does that. I know, "no picture, it didn't happen". I hope y'all don't call me on this one. Don't know if I could post it twice, lol. But, if you really want to call me on it, I guess I could live through it!

I don’t have a 93 O Bust. But the 93 O Morgan is one of my favorite Morgan dates of the series. I purchased this 1.5-2 years ago, and plan on keeping in my collection for a long time. But we’ll see?

I misread your post lol. I’m sorry. I thought you were talking about a 1893 O Bust. Which doesn’t even exist lol. My apologies, and I’m sorry for posting something not relevant to YOUR original post. It won’t let me delete my post? Or I would. I’m a #moron #dummy #stupid

Sorry, please don't take this as me calling you a liar, but I strongly disagree with you. You're just human, like "most" of us are, lol. By the way, I've tried to delete a double post, and I couldn't either. As for your "mistake", no harm, no foul. Welcome to the human race. Blessings
Oh, keep posting. I enjoyed your coin, even if it was in the wrong place.

Your not the first to make a dumb mistake and on post and won't be the last. Just roll with it. You've been on here long enough that most members know you and know what you usually post, so don't beat yourself up (although a little self flagilation every once in a while can be good for the soul :blackeye: :D)

I understand, and appreciate your kind words. It was funny to me, bc it took a trip to EBay to make me realise that a 1893 O Bust doesn’t even exist lol. Which I should have ALREADY known, obviously. Especially since, I’ve collected coins and been a small time dealer for a while. In my defense lol. I know next to nothing about the Bust Series. Except that some of the earlier ones can carry a ridiculous premium. Now back to work..

I 100% agree. Calling yourself out when need be isn’t really a bad trait. But yes, beating yourself up isn’t good.
