A coin and a movie

  1. Severus Alexander

Severus Alexander find me at NumisForums

Like our coin/song thread, I thought maybe this could turn into a coin/movie thread.

Here is a coin I need to jailbreak, but that it is not the only reason it makes me think of The Godfather...

Sicily, Syracuse, AR tetradrachm under Hieron I, issued c.480-475 BC. Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving slow quadriga right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses / ΣVR-A-KOΣI-OИ, diademed head of Arethusa right, surrounded by four dolphins. Boehringer series XIIb, 323 (V158/R226); Randazzo 494-6 (same dies); McClean 2614 (same dies); SNG ANS 105.

Any takers to continue a coin/movie theme?
