The image quality was actually quite fine when printed on a polyester knit fabric used for my and [USER=75563]@ancientcoinguru[/USER]'s jacket. I don't yet know how sharp they will reproduce on silk-- probably less sharp since the fabric is lighter weight and less densely woven. Also, I may offer the option of silk vs. polyester because of the extra cost of silk.</p><p><br /></p><p>The most important part of Doug's post: I am not seeking only EF and higher coins but I <b>do</b> need EF+ images. This is important. Some of you have posted wonderful coins I'd love to put on the tie, but the images are just not good enough. As I go through the posts over the next week or two, selecting and editing images as I go, I'll PM those whose images just don't work as-is (asking for a reshoot for better focus, better lighting, size, or whatever). I've read some tutorials about making fine neckties, watched some videos, etc. Pretty sure I can do it, but I'll need to make a test tie before ordering the expensive fabric. It looks like once I get in the groove, it will take ~2 hours to make one tie and that doesn't count all of this photo editing and design time and other activities needed to get ties in the mail.
