When I first go here, there was a poster who took any opportunity to post is rarest of the rare coins. Who is that poster and did he make the list?
Well I did make one list, Longest Contributing Member. It shows me starting in 2005, but that would probably be the first time I STARTED a thread. I'm actually one of the earliest active members here (yes even before Doug) but I don't start threads I respond to them. I doubt if I have started more than five threads the whole time I've been here, but I am on the official Notable Members list with over 12,500 posts. I think I know who he is talking abut on that "rarest of the rare" coin comment, and it isn't Mainebill. (I believe it has to do with an 11 cent piece and that is all I'm saying.)
I'm not on those lists as I only discovered ct a couple years ago and until the 2013 upgrade I couldn't access it to post I avent started a ton of threads either only lists I'm on is likes and trophy points I guess you guys like my coins!! I bet I've given far more likes then I've got either!
Yes, that is exactly what is showing. The first time you created a thread, not when you joined. I wanted to show a list of people who have been creating threads here for many years.
Me i just keep posting coin porn! Wish I could buy it faster but my finances don't allow despite what some people think I'm not independent wealthy I just work hard
Yeah, me too! Also, some people spend money on car, boats, planes, fancy food, fancy clothes. Actual rich people can have all those things if they want, Coingeeks from Maine choose coins! Things I spend money on: (1) bills (2) wife (3) kids (4) passive investments (5) coins. That's it. I post nice coins, but I have no money, LOL.
Yeah, I've done that. Well the roof anyway, not the windows. But I did my own roof, I'm a cheap punk.
Most of us up here in New England and especially Maine are successful due to one thing hard work!! I like to work hard so I can play hard coins are one of my passions!
That was me last spring new roof why I weren't buying coins for a few months the windows in my house been good for 200+ years no need to change!! em even tho the glass is wicked wavy is why I like em
No way would I get up on the roof of a Victorian. The installer said it was the biggest challenge of his career.......
Big 18th c colonial me and 2 friends did it one did mostly ground work as it's nearly 40 feet from the peak and he didn't do well up there I used to do roofing in high school nothing I wanna do during the hot summer for sure!!
It wasn't Bill or Hugh. It was some person who claimed he had some variety that was a top pop and the other members razzed him constantly about it.
