Already had 32 JFKs, including a 64P,65(uncorroded),66,67,68D and a collector 18D. I found 58 new ones (unfortunately nothing older than JFKs) > additional silvers 64P, 67, four 68Ds four non-circulation (collector) clads > two 15Ps, an 18D, and a 20P 16 to upgrade existing circulation clads 32 circulation clads to fill holes Now only missing 64D,69D,82P,88P from circulation mintages. Again, surprised at the number of recent non-circulation (collector) coins found. Pics of oldest and newest -these are inventory pics, so I try to show all the dings > And I bet the CU will love getting back a box minus two rolls!
I couldnt help but notice the tail feathers, did the design get an upgrade at some time between 1964 and 2020?
Hi Mike, when you have time Obverse and Obverse die varieties for the series, there were a lot of changes since 1964: http://www.varietyvista.com/12 Kennedy Halves/Obverse Design Varieties.htm http://www.varietyvista.com/12 Kennedy Halves/Reverse Design Varieties.htm As far as the tail feathers, I think it's just that it's a new struck coin.
