99 Wide AM Penny

    Hi. IMO, it doesn't look like a WAM. Also, the initials are not close to the Building.

    It is very easy.. If the M is close to the A then it is Close AM.. If there is equal space between the A and the E then it is Wide AM.

    Here is a cropped area of your Cent. You can clearly see it is Close to tha letter A..

    No... Admittedly, I had to really zoom in to see (because I didn't yet know the neat trick that Paddyman98 posted). So I had to rely on the "FG" distance from building to know for sure.

    Yes, that's visually a lot easier! (I think you meant "E" instead of "C"). I never realized that. This will be my "something new I learned today" on CoinTalk.

    Its seems like the other dates have the AM literally touching.

    I just checked my '98 WAM and sure enough, the M is equally spaced between the A and E.

    It's actually between the A and the E..
