Guess the VAM, and this is raw your opinion on the grade would be great. IMG_0001.JPG IMG_0002.JPG

    I'm at VAM-9b as well. I'd call it a 63+

How are you feeling is the flu gone?

I am a complete spaz at VAMs but I would also guess 9b. The counter clashed neck with the subtle flow line arching downward seems to be spot on.

Here is where I show my ignorance with modern die identification: I don't see some of the same markers for the reverse shown on the page linked above. Is it possible to have an obverse and reverse combination that doesn't correspond to one VAM?

Also... great coin. Love the toning.

Yeah. Still some congestion lingering though. And FYI, they missed the mark big time with this year's flu strain. The shot only has a 10% chance of being effective!

That sucks, I have never taken a flu shot. and, you didn't help make me a believer, with that bit of information.

Yea... w/o looking at any other vams, 9b appears to be some good detective work!
    Nice going Pat !!

I have taken a few other shot's of this coin, they are definitely a little more defining, there is another die marker, that I believe to be attributed to a different die.
VAM's can be hard enough, (hard enough) I am unable to attribute quite a few that I have, let alone from a photo.
I will add, that, I believe one of the major attributions to this coin has been left out, due to the weak strike.

It looks like a 9B to me and more like MS62ish.

The flu shot is basically a guess at the strain that will hit the worse. Sometimes they hit the mark and other times they miss it. This year they missed the mark big time. It's one of the main reasons the flu is severely backing up ER's this year. Some ER's are having to set up triage tents specifically for people coming in with the flu..

My Son and I have escaped scares of strep throat and so far, the flu.
A small stomach virus, very minor. (I am keeping my fingers crossed)
