Most of you got it right. But it's a lock 65 today. The lower chin is just a very minor frost break and there isn't more than a speck or two on the cheek. This is a very clean coin. Heck, if I saw it in a 66 it probably wouldn't bean but I wouldn't question it. I'll probably break it out and send it to PCGS in a friends bulk sub. Only have $40 in it so why not. The reverse is PL but the obv doesn't quite make it
Love those ANACS holders. I love them even more when you can buy them from shops that simply go by what the label says, and then discount them because they are ANACS.
Yeah. Me too. I've never cracked a hotel soap but in this case it's only an 81s and a no brainer 65 that would near triple what I would have in it.
V66 huh? Wow, you actually bothered to look that one up? 81S is probably the only date that i wont waste my time on (so 2 speak) Unless there is something cool/unusual about it. Im the same way with PEACE $, i dont enjoy fooling w them. Sidenote: 4 those that havent heard, Breen wrote about an 81S overdate (1/9) in his encyclopedia , i dont believe one has EVER come to light, but i always eyeball the 8 and the 1 because well, ya just never know
My fool-proof process: 1) search for VAM (10min) 2) bang head against desk (5min) 3) make up a random number (1min) In case somebody realizes it's the wrong VAM, start over at 1) but now look at the correct year/mm combination...
