Plastic set crack You can tell it is the plastic covering, because you can see it above on the packaging.:computer:
It looks like it totally crosses over the "L" It doesn't seem to incorporate the same area. But, one way to find out, is to just take it easy and slowly open it.
And the upper part of the crack extends past the coin itself. I know it is hard to tell, because proofs give off a great reflextion. If this was a business strike, then I think we would have figured it out by now.
