69 no fg?

    I assume this is correct one right if I get this wrong somehow I think I'm go back to the stamps lol

    I do not see an FG. Most likely due to a grease filled die.

    Yeah I don't see an FG from those pics.

    I'd find out if it's a common issue for that year (i.e. as Seattlite86 said about the grease filled), but your example looks like the FG was not meant to be there at all.

    No FG is also a result of an overpolished Die that removed the F and the G. Evidence of this is the floating roof on the Memorial Building.. That would make it the Floating Roof Variety. Look at it carefully. You probably went through thousands of Cents without realizing it.
    Common on Cents minted in the late 1960's and early 1970's

    When I find these I keep them, I have a hand full of them. I think they are only worth a penny, but I still keep them.

    The 69d fg is a cherry pickers I'll have to relook for the roof part don't remember even reading about that one. So 69d no fg does hold little premium I think
