Here is a nice Washington Quarter error coin. It was Broadstruck on a Type 1 Blank planchet. Graded by PCGS as a MS-65 Mint Ertor coin. It’s a 1996-P Quarter.

Very nice coin. Another 3 or 4 years the "likes" may catch up to number of coins you have.

I believe a type 1 blank is a blank that has not gone through the upsetting mill, and does not have a raised edge. It is a type 1 blank before the upsetting mill, and a type 2 blank (planchet) after it exits the mill.

Nah. He hasn’t check all his boxes yet. I think he has a cannon ball with coins in it.

I have no doubt about unopened stashed boxes all over the place. I have two areas of concern about this:
#1- How does the woman of the house put-up with this, and do you ever eat a hoagie while looking in them?

#2- Right before you went into the hospital for the surgery I seem to remember you stating you had 5,000 cents to check out and get back with us on. Have you yet looked at them, and aren't you a little overdue for the report?

Let me address your concerns sir (all smiles on my end). First the woman of the house doesn’t care as long as I keep them to myself, which I do. I never eat or drink anything when I’m looking at my coins.
As for the cents, I got through a small amount of them. Then I had to stop. I’m getting around okay but I have to stop and sit all the time. It takes forever for me to get anything done. But I do what I can.
Another problem is my mother in law pasted away in mid May. She was 92 snd led a good life. Her children have sold the house and the new owner wants us out by the end of October. They settle on Friday and don’t appear to be very nice.
Most of our time has been spent looking for another place and that’s been very difficult. We’ve also been helping to settle moms estate. Her house is 3 stories and it’s full, basement to the attic.
My wife and I live in the barn apartment and it full as well. We are going to send a decent amount to an auction. I know him and he came by yesterday. October 6 is the date they pick up things. Lots C of packing to do as well.
But all this has been compounded for me. I’ve been in my antique shop renting space for 13 years. I went to high school with the owner and she’s been doing this for 24 years. She decided to close the business the end of October.
Life is just full of fun and surprises but we’re managing as well as can be expected. I still order coins I need or want but I don’t have time to open the packages. Lol I just add them to the pile of unopened ones. One day when things are all settled and calm I’ll get to them. At least that’s my plan.

I had no idea you actually had so much going on. I remember the passing of your mother in law, and of course the surgery. The estate settlement and selling of the house I don't remember you mentioning that plus the shop space. You certainly do have your hands full even if you didn't have to make the frequent stops post-op to the surgery.

This is a tremendous amount of work and stress that apparently the deadline is rapidly approaching. I wish there was some way I could help you. I'm sure you know the items I mentioned came from one of your posts in my thread on the Coin Collection thread.

Yes I know and I never mentioned the estate or shop. I fess as l with the problems as best as I can given the circumstances. I haven’t been on CT as much either and that’s why.

You are very busy and "dragging a lot of weight around". Hope this all gets behind you soon.

It will my friend, it will. Life is full of challenges and this is a few of them. Just a large bump in the current field of things. I’m looking for a new place to set up my antique business.

It does no good to cuss, get upset and complain. Just deal with it as best as you can. I always do this no matter what the problem is.
