Its pretty simple. I&#039;m a big fan of his work. I think what he does is brilliant and it&#039;s one of the most interesting areas of modern numismatics. I buy his pieces just like everyone else and when I post stuff it&#039;s to share with others that like his work and also to maybe expose those that may not know about his work to it either now or when they casually read a thread months or years from now. Its no different than a fan of a particular hobo artist posting about said artists work. Dan just happens to be ubiquitously more popular than your average hobo artist.</p><p><br /></p><p>That said, who cares if I, or anyone, is selfishly trying to pump his stuff in the hopes that it would somehow lead to higher aftermarket prices? That wouldn&#039;t be necessary however as his stuff sells out by itself and garners decent premiums on the aftermarket already. I&#039;m glad you think so highly of me I suppose, that I would have such power, but I don&#039;t think someone posting about specific pieces will have an appreciable effect on said pieces above and beyond their natural course.</p><p><br /></p><p>You seem to have a hair up your butt about people who sell his items which is hilarious as you sell a ton of it. You were cool until a couple of weeks ago then something happened. Its like a light switched off for you or something.
