This mint mark is from an EDS 64D Kennedy half dollar. I don’t know what to think about this...is it MDD or an RPM? I am talking about inside and to the right of the primary D. Does anyone have any opinions?

Larry, I think the giveaway is the split serif on the upper left. Don'tcha think!

Thanks Chris, you are right about the spit serifs, that would make this an RPM, I think minor. What I am concerned about is what is inside and to the right of the primary D.

While I don't think there is any question about the split serifs (there looks to be a small one at the bottom left) it doesn't mean that there can't ALSO be machine doubling, too, as evidenced by the flat, shelf-like appearance inside left and outside right.

I think you should send that one to Dr. Wiles for inclusion in the listings. It looks stronger then some of the others he has listed.

    BTW, Nice find….
