Today is 1806-day. Here's one. The die marriage was pretty easy to determine.

I only know these are Draped Bust cents and in poor condition, but I thought they deserved posting still.

 

I forgot about this 1807/6, S-273. ANACS VG10 before cracking.

The reverse is really nice. How come the reverses on these Draped Bust cents are generally better than the obverses?

There is more detail on the reverse and it "protects" the coin as a result.

This is true for all large cents and even the majority of US coins, in point of fact.

Wow guys, I am impressed.

After seeing some of those last few Lance, I now realize how off my grading is on these early copper. I would definitely over-grade by a long shot.
