It is pretty worn and damaged, but I couldn't pass on this 1901 S Barber Dime. 20241010_144619.jpg 20241010_144609.jpg

Too bad about the damage to this key date. Probably a bargain at that price.
As a hole filler its's worth more than that as G4 is listed at $120.
    Perhaps $40-$50 for this?

I am guessing in the $40 range.

Seems like a good score for $6. A 1901-S for the price of a coffee is something I would do. 1901 was one of the interesting years for Barber dimes, with two reverse types in transition.

Despite the damage you did good.

Ouch, that one worked hard for a living.

Better-date coin for six bucks, though?

Yep. Good grab, no doubt about it.
