It all depends when the fold occurred during the printing process. It is possible to have a gutter fold on the first printing that is remedied during the second printing so no fold would show on the front of a bill while showing on the back. Also, if a sheet got folded/ creased during the second printing there would be no gutter fold on the reverse.</p><p><br /></p><p>I don’t know if is just me, but I have never seen a gutter fold on only the third printing.
