Found this one in a shop today, it has two interior die breaks on the obverse, one retained, and a CUD on the reverse. one thing I am not familiar with is the area on the reverse. Below "of ame" and towards the rim. It is raised on the coin. My only thoughts are that the Interior die break clashed with the reverse die. Maybe the guy that Photo'd this error for http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-interior-die-break-1909-1958/ could help me out? @Fred Weinberg
Off hand do you know what these sell for? I only know what I bought it for and was willing to pay for a BU example.
It doesn't look raised (on the reverse area noted), but if it is, it's probably due to the damage that was caused to the reverse die when the obv. chipped off, and/or was damaged. Notice it's opposite the obv. die damage.
Thanks for clarifying that. The coin you photo'd for the website, is it yours or just one that you attributed?
I didn't do the photos or attributions on most of them. BJ Neff did all of that - I just, for the most part, sent him a few hundred Cuds to be photographed for the website.
