I'm not huge on the brown toning, but it's a lovely matched set. I assume that you also have the nickel and cent, do those match the set as well?
The nickels and cents lack a lot in toning. I'll try and get some pics on them up on the morrow......
on a clear day... He can see Europe from his front porch......... on a foggy day with a bourbon or two he can walk there......
The wrapping is mostly green tissue paper and cardboard.......I'll get some photos up tomorrow on what the OGP looks like. And, to answer the question, no......didn't have to break them out. You folks will see tomorrow.
Actually, that's two cents and two nickles. Back in the day, the mint issued duplicates of each coin struck for that year. So, with my '55 set (Philly) I have two halfs, two quarters, two dimes......you get the picture? San Fran only issued dimes and cents that year and Denver produced no half dollars.
