Each machine can hold $400 in nickels before getting filled. The three banks are on my way to the gym so I dont waste gas. I put in anywhere from $300 to $360 in each machine in the morning (they empty the machines at closing the day before) the machines are 3X faster then a coinstar. I take three buckets with me in my car and just dump one bucket at each bank get my ticket and deposit it to my checking account which is also FREE!</p><p><br /></p><p>"Do the tellers at these banks hate you,give you problems,or do you feel embarrassed?"</p><p><br /></p><p> Nope! Not at all! I have always been honest and told them I do this for the love of the hobby I even educate them on coins to look for and show them pictures of my recent finds. Best thing to do is be honest and dont lie.</p><p><br /></p><p> Plus my tellers love me as I always reward them the first of the month with a giant batch of cookies. I am a firm believer in taking care of your tellers if they are going out of there way to take care of you. Remember these boxes you pick up cost the bank money. And banks DO NOT like to lose money. Make it worth it for them and take care of them.
