how about a close up of the reverse and obv of the gold coin if you can.

 

I just placed my order for the proof and uncirculated versions of both the dollar and half dollar commerative coins. As I have never ordered these coins before are both the proof and uncirculated dollar coins 90% silver or is just the proof dollar coin silver. I think that are both 90% silver, just not positive.

If I like what I see, I may go after the 3 coin set. Depending upon the sales numbers I also thinking about purchasing additional half dollars, but am uncertain about which one I will get, there really isn't much of a spread between the two coins.

Are the prices that I am seeing today for the General coins regular prices or lower introductory prices. I saw where the introductory prices on the Girl Scout coins were to revert to their regular prices after the close of business today. That's why I was asking.

 

Not entirely true. Eisenhower was offered the Medal of Honor for his leadership in the European Theater but refused it because he believed that it should be reserved for valor in combat. MacArthur accepted his for leadership in the Pacific.
